The backyard has large ficus trees and a lemon tree, but is not landscaped. There is a sitting area made of stucco and flagstone attached to it. There is also a paved path that goes from the back porch to the side yard. There is an RV gate.
The gas water heater was replaced in 2024. The air conditioner was replaced in 2022 along with a Nest smart thermostat. The front door has a keyless lock and a Nest doorbell. The roof and windows have not been replaced.
The 2-car garage has extra storage along the west wall and an epoxy floor. There are 2 dog doors, one through the garage door and one leading to the backyard.
In 2023, a slab leak between the laundry room and the kitchen was repaired.
This is a lovely neighborhood. I have lived on this street for 17 years, and there are very few for-sale signs that go up. I do not know of any rental properties in the neighborhood. It is very close to a park and a large greenbelt area. Navarrette is the elementary school in the neighborhood. Currently, the junior high is far and would require a bus ride. From where we live, you can choose to go to Payne Jr High or Santan Jr High. Basha High School is directly across Sun Groves and on the other side of Riggs Road.
